Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance to diagnose and treat various medical conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide interventions accurately and safely.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to manage any complications and ensure a smooth recovery process.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, outcomes, and patient follow-ups to ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and contribute expertise in interventional approaches.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, and recovery processes to promote informed decision-making.
  • Conduct pre-procedural assessments and consultations to evaluate patient risks and benefits of interventional procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MD degree with specialized training in interventional radiology, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge in both radiology and surgical procedures.

  • Board certification in interventional radiology or radiology, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.

  • A minimum of 4 years of post-residency experience in interventional radiology, demonstrating expertise and proficiency in diverse procedures.

  • Proficiency in advanced imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound, with a focus on their application in interventional techniques.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stakes environments, ensuring patient safety and care.
