Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and disposals.
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports to support management decision-making.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory closing processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary inventory documentation and explanations.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory variances and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in inventory accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work on-site as required by the company.
