Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts, investigating and resolving variances.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize losses.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, adjustments, and transfers within the accounting system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory accounts.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the integrity of inventory data and adherence to internal controls.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding inventory trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in inventory accounting, inventory control, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced office environment.
