Keep inventory records precise and ensure prompt entry of data

• Address inventory discrepancies and promptly resolve any issues
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct routine inspections to confirm precision
• Reconcile raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, and manage inventory valuation and cycle counts. Create thorough inventory reports to be reviewed by management.
• Examine inventory expenses and discrepancies to assist in making financial choices
• Work together with the purchasing and warehouse teams to optimise inventory procedures
• Help with inventory-related tasks during the monthly and yearly closing processes.
• Establish and uphold Inventory Management Protocols. Make sure to follow company policies and adhere to accounting standards
• Offer advice and suggestions for improving inventory efficiency and lowering costs
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, preparing monthly cost reports and variance analyses (actual vs. standard/budget).
• Participate in annual budget preparation and rolling forecasts, monitoring expenses to identify saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to optimize pricing, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Maintain cost ledger, update standard costs in ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), and improve cost accounting processes. Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
