Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry & Record Maintenance:
Enter stock receipts, transfers, and consumption into the system accurately.
Maintain updated and error-free inventory records.
Update recipes, item codes, unit prices, and vendor information.

2. Stock Monitoring:
-Track daily stock levels and item movements.
-Assist in identifying slow-moving, expired, or missing items and support follow-up actions.

3. Documentation & Filing:
-Collect stock counts, transfers, invoices, consumption, and wastage reports from all outlets in a timely manner.
-Verify supporting documents before entry and maintain proper filing of all inventory-related documentation.

4. Coordination:
-Coordinate with warehouse/store teams to verify stock movements and physical counts.
-Collaborate with outlet in-charges, Executive Chef, and Operations Managers.
-Liaise with purchasing and accounts departments for data clarification.
Stock Audits & Reconciliation-Support monthly and annual stock counts.
-Reconcile system records with physical inventory and report discrepancies.

5. Reporting:
-Prepare reports as instructed by the Inventory Controller.
-Submit variance, damage, and consumption reports promptly.
Compliance & Accuracy-Follow company inventory control procedures.
-Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all records.

Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role or as a warehouse/store in-charge or receiving officer within the hospitality/F&B sector.
Strong understanding of F&B operations, inventory management, and cost control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
