Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing and project delivery.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and ERP records.
  • Monitor inventory transactions within the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and traceability throughout the supply chain.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory handling, storage, and movement.
  • Analyze inventory trends and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure materials and products meet required specifications before acceptance into inventory.
  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to maintain efficient and safe inventory operations.
  • Support rapid prototyping and value engineering projects by ensuring the availability of required materials and components.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse supervision, or materials control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in using ERP systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing inventory control procedures and SOPs.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on-site and coordinate with production, procurement, and quality control departments.
  • Familiarity with industrial-grade machinery and materials handling equipment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and quality.
