Investment Analyst

Job Location : Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities :

Build and maintain advanced financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO/light LBO, scenario & sensitivity).
Conduct valuation using DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions, SOTP, and NAV methods.
Analyze company financials, sectors, competitive dynamics, and macro trends to identify risks/opportunities.
Prepare investment memos, IC decks, and dashboards with crisp recommendations and KPIs.
Support due diligence (commercial, financial, operational) and coordinate with external advisors as needed.
Track portfolio performance; monitor catalysts, earnings, covenants, and risk metrics.
Stay current on market movements, regulations, and compliance relevant to Dubai/UAE and target geographies.
Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive informed capital allocation.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA a plus).
2 4 years in investment analysis, corporate finance, equity research, or buy-side/sell-side roles.
Advanced Excel (index-match, power queries, modeling best practices) and PowerPoint (board-ready presentations).
Strong grasp of financial statements, valuation, and portfolio concepts; familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, PitchBook) is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred Skills :

Experience across public equities, private equity/VC, real assets, or credit.
Comfort with scenario analysis, risk assessment, and investment committee etiquette.
High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a team-first mindset with cultural sensitivity.
Basic proficiency in Power BI/Tableau or Python for analytics is a plus.
