Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan, engineer, and monitor security measures for the protection of IP-based network systems.
  • Identify, assess, and define system security requirements to safeguard against internal and external threats.
  • Develop innovative solutions to mitigate existing and emerging security threats.
  • Configure, implement, and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and other security appliances.
  • Conduct system testing to identify vulnerabilities in both software and hardware infrastructure.
  • Maintain and manage security systems including firewalls, VPNs, web filtering, and email protection tools.
  • Configure and install network and security infrastructure devices as per organizational standards.
  • Investigate security breaches, conduct incident response, and perform forensic analysis when necessary.
  • Generate and present detailed reports based on security analysis and monitoring findings.
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of new security-related software and hardware.
  • Adjust and improve technical and regulatory aspects of the security system to ensure compliance and robustness.
  • Define, update, and enforce IT security policies and standards.
  • Maintain and support core infrastructure components, including switches and servers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Cisco Certification: Minimum CCNP (Routing & Switching) or equivalent, with strong hands-on experience.
  • Routing & Switching Expertise: In-depth understanding and experience with enterprise-level routing and switching, including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and STP.
  • VLAN & IP Addressing: Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot VLANs, subnets, and IP addressing schemes.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Experience with configuring and managing 2FA/MFA solutions across network and system infrastructure.
  • Fortinet Certification: Minimum NSE4 with solid experience in Fortinet firewall configuration, operations, and maintenance.
  • Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine): Working knowledge of Cisco ISE for identity-based network access control.
  • Cisco Wireless (WLC): Familiarity with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and wireless security principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis of network and security issues.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
