Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and perform routine maintenance on high-pressure water jetting units, pumps, hoses, and specialized nozzles, with pressures often reaching up to 40,000 PSI.

Rope Access Operations: Rig ropes and safely maneuver (ascend, descend, change ropes, perform edge transitions) in complex environments, such as offshore platforms, industrial facilities, and ship hulls, without the need for scaffolding.

Surface Preparation and Cleaning: Use hydroblasting techniques to remove contaminants, rust, scale, paint, and other residues from various industrial surfaces, ensuring specific cleanliness standards are met.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) International Code of Practice, as well as OSHA and EPA safety and environmental regulations.

Hazardous Material Handling: Safely manage, contain, and dispose of collected wastes, which may include hazardous materials.

Inspections and Documentation: Conduct pre- and post-operation safety checks, document work performed, and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to develop cleaning strategies and ensure efficient project completion.
