Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement irrigation schedules based on citrus crop growth stages and climatic conditions.
- Design, operate, and monitor modern irrigation systems (drip and sprinkler).
- Determine crop water requirements and ensure efficient water distribution.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot irrigation networks, pumps, filters, and tanks.
- Supervise water and soil analysis results and recommend corrective actions for salinity or clogging issues.
- Coordinate with the fertilization team to ensure effective fertigation programs.
- Prepare periodic reports on:
- Water consumption
- Irrigation efficiency
- Technical issues and maintenance needs
- Supervise irrigation technicians and workers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Contribute to reducing water losses and improving irrigation efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Agricultural Engineering (Irrigation specialization preferred).
- 2 5 years of experience in irrigation management, preferably in citrus or horticultural farms.
- Strong knowledge of modern irrigation systems and water management practices.
