Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient and sustainable irrigation systems for landscape projects, ensuring optimal water usage and plant health.
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate soil conditions, plant types, and water sources, tailoring irrigation designs to specific landscape requirements.
  • Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation equipment, including sprinklers, valves, controllers, and pipelines, troubleshooting issues promptly.
  • Develop and manage irrigation schedules, considering weather patterns, plant needs, and water conservation goals, optimizing water distribution.
  • Perform regular inspections of irrigation systems, identifying and addressing leaks, clogs, and malfunctions to prevent water waste and system downtime.
  • Monitor and analyze water usage data, making adjustments to irrigation schedules and systems to improve efficiency and reduce water consumption.
  • Collaborate with landscape architects, contractors, and clients to integrate irrigation designs seamlessly into overall landscape plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or a related field, showcasing a strong academic foundation.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in irrigation design, installation, and maintenance within the landscape industry.
