Islamic Studies Teacher Delhi Private School

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive lessons on Islamic theology, jurisprudence (Fiqh), Quranic studies, Hadith, and Islamic history
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum and educational standards
• Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and discussions related to Islamic teachings
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and class participation
• Promote Islamic morals, ethics, and values in the classroom
• Organize and supervise religious activities, events, and field trips
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and school administration about student progress
• Stay updated on Islamic scholarship and pedagogical best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree or higher in Islamic Studies, Shariah, Theology, or Education
• Teaching certification or experience in Islamic education (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage students of different age groups and backgrounds
• Fluent in Arabic and/or English (depending on the medium of instruction)
• Patient, respectful, and culturally sensitive approach
