RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support collection of business requirements using document analysis and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly. Carry predefined technical analysis and feasibility studies of user s needs.

• Provide feedback on suitability during approval process for database specifications during approval process, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols to maintain data integrity.

• Test databases and associated products to validate their suitability for use and alignment with customer requirements.

• Support implementation of required security measures, such as firewalls or message encryption, while monitoring performance to notify security experts of any problems.

• Assist with both internal and external audit requirements and conduct regular user security reviews across different systems.

• Draft and maintain basic documentation of technical implementations, incorporating the creation of backup knowledge-based articles (featuring latest solutions and Q&As) for instant recovery should problems occur.

• Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.

• Monitor and report on distribution of database resources and provide physical modeling and design services to tune database applications for optimum performance.

• Maintain a data recording process/system, performing functions such as data archiving and updating.

• Perform routine website/applications software tests and responds to user inquiries to diagnose and resolves performance issues. Provide technical support to corporate users on site and remotely to ensure proper functioning and integration with legacy systems.

LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Technical Skills

• Database experience (SQL or Oracle) with strong knowledge in T-SQL querying.

EDUCATION

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

Zero to two years of experience in a similar role.
