Roles & Responsibilities

Position Objectives

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Digitisation Expert to lead and manage the development, enhancement, and integration of our in-house application built on the Odoo platform. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless system synchronisation, and championing automation strategies, including RPA for legacy systems. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and promote the product across the organisation effectively.


Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Application Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the in-house application built on the Odoo platform.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyse, and prioritise business requirements to continuously improve the tool s functionality and user experience.
  • System Integration & Synchronization:
  • Design and implement solutions to ensure accurate and efficient data reflection and synchronisation between the application and surrounding systems.
  • Automation & RPA Implementation:
  • Lead the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for legacy systems that lack API support, including document reading and decision-making automation.
  • Product Advocacy & Marketing:
  • Develop and execute strategies to promote the application internally, highlighting its value and encouraging adoption across departments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain strong communication with internal customers, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction through effective issue resolution and support.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Provide regular progress updates using business-oriented language, supported by metrics such as usage statistics, adoption rates, and performance indicators.
  • Backlog Management:
  • Build and maintain a structured product backlog, working closely with the development team to prioritize and implement changes based on business needs.
  • Infrastructure & Security Oversight:
  • Ensure the application s infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure, adhering to best practices in cybersecurity and system efficiency.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing applications on the Odoo platform or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, data synchronisation, and API/RPA technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in automation and RPA tools, especially for legacy systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa.
  • Experience in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile delivery practices.
  • Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.
