Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to meet business requirements for IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and service standards.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor pricing trends and market developments to ensure cost-effective procurement while upholding quality and compliance.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to enhance procurement strategies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to internal policies, legal requirements, and cybersecurity standards throughout procurement processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, finance, and legal teams to streamline purchasing processes and align procurement with organizational goals.
  • Order Processing: Handle purchase requests, generate purchase orders, and monitor delivery timelines.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Coordinate with IT teams to manage stock levels and oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT procurement, preferably within the UAE.
  • Solid knowledge of IT products, licensing models, and procurement best practices.
  • Proven negotiation and vendor management expertise.
  • Understanding of UAE procurement laws and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
  • Familiarity with SaaS licensing and enterprise IT contract structures.
