Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, security, and performance while providing technical support to internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and systems.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.

  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues promptly.

  • Administer network security, firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.

  • Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and recovery readiness.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related procurement and support.

  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.



Desired Candidate Profile



  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/ECE

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.

  • Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, VPNs).

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).

  • Experience in cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS).

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and tools.


Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cisco (CCNA), or CompTIA.

  • Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery.

  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python).

  • Familiarity with industrial IT environments (preferred for oil & gas / projects).
