Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Level 1 & 2 Support: Provide technical support to users and internal teams for issues related to servers, databases, storage, backup, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and Exchange Online.
Incident Management: Identify, diagnose and resolve level 1 and 2 technical incidents. Escalate complex problems for senior engineers when necessary.
Maintenance and Administration: Provide day-to-day maintenance of Windows operating systems, file servers, SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), backup solutions (Dell Data Protect, Data Domain), as well as Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and Exchange Online environments.
Request Management: Handle user requests for access, configurations, and technical issues using ticketing tools.
Documentation: Update technical documents and support procedures to reflect changes and new information.
Deployment assistance: Assist in the configuration and deployment of new equipment or software, following the instructions of senior engineers.
Technology Watch: Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in order to provide recommendations and improve existing practices.
Scripting and Automation: Use simple scripts to automate recurring tasks under the supervision of senior engineers. Knowledge of scripting with PowerShell, Bash or Python is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile sought:
- Basic technical knowledge: Fundamental understanding of Windows environments, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, Exchange Online, SQL database management, virtualization technologies, backup solutions.
- Incident Management Skills: Ability to resolve common technical incidents and follow ITIL processes for incident and change management.
- Autonomy and Initiative: Ability to work proactively, take initiative and manage daily tasks effectively.
- Communication skills: Good communication skills to interact with users and IT teams, and to document procedures and incidents.

- Security awareness: Knowledge of good practices in data and system security.
- Previous experience in technical support or IT administration
Desired skills:
- Scripting knowledge: Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash or Python scripting is desired.
- Certifications: Entry-level IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.

- Team Spirit: Ability to collaborate effectively with senior engineers and other members of the IT team.
- Results orientation: Focus on performance and efficiency in solving problems and completing tasks.
