Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose

To provide IT support to SDIC and perform routine functionalities of IT related matters.


Responsibilities

Strategic

Assist in achieving SDICs efficiency and effectiveness through development of Information Technology processes & policies.

Ensure the accessibility of IT functions to all staff.

People

Perform routine administrative activities required of Information Technology professional.

Perform as an effective member in supporting the unit in ensuring that the tasks in accordance to the objectives are completed accurately on daily basis.

Seek support and guidance from the Head.

Foster a culture of team spirit, co-operation and continuous self-development within the unit.


Operational

Provide prompt support to staff in any IT relevant requirements.

Assist SDIC’Ss staff in overcoming daily IT technical issues.

Setup and troubleshoot phones, computers, printers, access control and scanners.

Continually maintain system inventory and software library.

Setup new users’ accounts, computers, Smartphone devices and access cards.

Impalement all Windows and ready-made software installations as per the requirements of SDIC’S day-to-day operations.

Conduct IT induction to newly joined staff.

Continually maintain Access and Attendance systems.

Support site offices of SDIC’s projects as required.
