Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Log, track, and manage support tickets using the company s IT service management system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level IT staff or specialized teams as needed.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and security patches on user devices.
- Provide support for remote access, VPN connectivity, and workplace collaboration tools.
- Educate users on best practices for IT security, data protection, and efficient use of technology resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and user interactions for knowledge base development.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives to enhance service delivery and user experience.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to assist users of varying technical backgrounds.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common office productivity software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Basic understanding of IT security principles and data privacy.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT environments.
- Flexibility to provide support during off-hours or on-call rotations if required.
