Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
Operate and maintain IT infrastructure onsite, including server, network and workplace PC.
Manage local server environments ( both physical and virtual ).
Manage internal LAN/Wi-Fi connections and collaborate with Global IT for WAN support.
Manage local workplace, especially all PC and Workstations pertinent to Workshop area.
Ensure the operability of local IT/server rooms, coordinating with facilities and Global IT.
Project & Initiative Support
Support and drive IT infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with Engineering department on digital transformation efforts.
Liaise with R&D, Logistics and other departments to design and provision infrastructure for labs and warehouses.
Support the design and provisioning of IT infrastructure for machinery and production equipment, in collaboration with Engineering and IoT Team
Work closely to the other members of Local IT Team to deliver a best-in-class IT service
Server, Network, Workstation Design & Security
Design, develop and field local network infrastructure ( L2/L3 switches, fiber optics, LAN, Wi-Fi ) in line with Global IT standards.
Design and implement server architecture in line with Global IT standards.
Select, procure and install PC and workstations for Factory area.
Collaborate on OT security asset management and VLAN segmentation.
Setup Local Infrastructure Security according to Global IT Standards.
Vendor & Budget Management
Coordinate with external vendors for workplace management.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts for local infrastructure and cabling.
Contribute to the preparation of the annual IT infrastructure budget.
Support procurement processes for OT and industrial infrastructure.
Operations & Lifecycle Management
Purchase, manage, and patch factory PCs in OT and shopfloor environments.
Oversee IT asset lifecycle management and disposal.
Desired Candidate Profile
University degree in IT, Electronics, Information Systems, Automation, or a related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in IT roles within manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems, server architecture (physical and virtual), and network management.
Experience with ERP/MRP or production control systems is a plus.
Familiarity with OT/IoT environments is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills to engage with IT users and business functions.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Valid driving license required.
