Job Responsibilities:

  1. IT Strategy, Governance & Service Delivery

  • Develop and execute the IT operational and developmental plans, aligned to business objectives and manufacturing priorities.

  • Establish IT governance: policies, standards, procedures, controls, and service catalog.

  • Ensure IT service continuity, proactive monitoring, and measurable service performance (SLA-driven).

  • Manage IT budgeting, cost optimization, licensing, renewals, and total cost of ownership.

  1. Infrastructure Architecture, Server Implementation & Management

  • Design, deploy, and manage physical and virtual server infrastructure to meet performance, scalability, and high-availability requirements.

  • Implement secure configuration baselines and patching schedules (OS, firmware, hypervisor, core apps).

  • Own storage, backup, replication, and recovery architecture to minimize downtime and protect data.

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, execute root-cause analysis, and drive prevention actions.

  1. Virtualization & Capacity Management

  • Implement and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware / Hyper-V) for optimized resource usage and operational efficiency.

  • Manage VM lifecycle: provisioning, performance tuning, scaling, resource allocation, and decommissioning.

  • Conduct capacity planning for compute, storage, and network and ensure future-ready scalability.

  1. Network & Firewall Policy Management

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain network security controls including firewalls, segmentation, VPN, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access.

  • Review, optimize, and document firewall rules/policies in line with least privilege and change management.

  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity/security issues impacting office + factory operations.

  1. Cybersecurity (EDR/XDR, Hardening, Monitoring)

  • Administer and optimize EDR/XDR tools; tune policies, alerts, and response playbooks.

  • Implement endpoint/server hardening, privileged access controls, and secure configuration standards.

  • Establish vulnerability management: scanning, remediation tracking, patch compliance, and reporting.

  • Provide cybersecurity awareness and ensure secure behaviors across the organization.

  1. Incident Detection, Response & Recovery

  • Lead security incident handling triggered by EDR/XDR/firewall/SIEM (if applicable).

  • Perform investigations, containment, eradication, recovery, and lessons learned.

  • Maintain incident documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of response protocols.

  1. Business Systems / Manufacturing Enablement

  • Ensure stability and integration of core systems that support manufacturing and commercial operations (examples):

  • ERP/MIS, finance, procurement, inventory, production planning

  • Print/packaging workflow systems (file servers, artwork repositories, RIP/prepress infrastructure where applicable)

  • Barcode/labeling, traceability, warehouse scanning, quality documentation systems

  • Ensure shopfloor IT readiness: reliable connectivity, device uptime, secure access, and minimal production disruption.

  1. Compliance, Risk Management & Audit Support

  • Develop and enforce security and IT operational policies aligned with business and customer requirements.

  • Support audits and compliance obligations relevant to manufacturing and quality environments (e.g., document control, traceability, access control, data protection).

  • Maintain IT asset management, software compliance, and evidence for internal/external audits.

  1. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage vendors, MSPs, ISPs, OEM support partners, security providers, and software suppliers.

  • Negotiate contracts, ensure service levels, and drive performance reviews.

  • Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  1. Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, firewall rules, policies, backups, DR procedures, network diagrams, and asset inventory.

  • Keep up-to-date with evolving technologies and threats; recommend improvements to enhance security, performance, and scalability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • BE, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in server implementation and management (both physical and virtualized environments).

  • Strong expertise in firewall configuration, management, and policy deployment.

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with EDR and XDR solutions for threat detection and response.

  • Familiarity with network protocols, security technologies (IDS/IPS, VPNs), and IT security frameworks.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server infrastructure, firewall configurations, and security tools.

  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, CISA) are preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud environments and security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, O365 & M365).

  • Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
