Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring seamless support for all business functions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to assess technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
- Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are robust and up-to-date.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 10 year of proven experience in IT management or a related leadership role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and network management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with IT project management and implementation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with procurement and vendor management processes.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
