Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IT equipment (PCs, peripherals, printers).
  • Structure and manage level 1 IT support for all on-site users.
  • Organize preventive and corrective maintenance of IT equipment in coordination with the DSI SAE.
  • Deploy workstations and software according to the standards defined by the DSI.

IT industrial & production means

  • Ensure the proper functioning of computerized production equipment.
  • Ensure the interface between production teams and IT referents and the DSI SAE.
  • Participate in the evolution projects of industrial digital tools.
  • Participate in the implementation of new tools related to industrial means.

Network & Local Infrastructure

  • Ensure optimal network operation (industrial and office).
  • Manage Wi-Fi hotspots, VLANs, equipment connectivity.
  • Supervise and maintain server rooms (supervision, air conditioning, energy, cabling).
  • Be the local point of contact for coordination with central infrastructure teams.

IT and physical security

  • Manage IT security solutions and control of physical access (badges, cameras, access control).
  • Follow the cybersecurity procedures defined by the DSI SAE and the group.
  • Implement business continuity plans (local PRA/PCA).
  • Raise user awareness of good security practices.

Management of the local IT team

  • Supervise, animate and develop the skills of the site IT team (10 employees).
  • Plan and organize team activities.
  • Organize on-call duties and service continuity.
  • Ensure reporting of local activities to site management and DSI SAE.
  • Conduct annual interviews, set objectives and monitor skills development.
  • Identify training needs and support the skills development of employees.
  • Participate in recruitment from the definition of needs to the integration of new arrivals.

Supplier & contract management

  • Monitor local maintenance contracts, services and licenses.
  • Manage the relationship with on-site technical service providers.
  • Manage local calls for tenders or consultations in connection with purchases.

Relationship with DSI SAE

  • Report needs, incidents and projects requiring central support.
  • Implement locally the directives, standards and solutions defined at the group level.
  • Participate in cross-functional IT committees.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Diploma: Master in information systems engineering or equivalent, Bac + 5
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the aeronautics, metallurgical or IT services industries, with experience in IT team management.

Skills

  • General: Teamwork, initiative, leadership, people development.
  • Technical: Methodologies and best practices in IT service and operations management, information technology development, management systems (ERP), server and operating system management, IT network management.
  • Personal: Leadership, planning and control, sense of service, delegation, interpersonal skills, decision-making, persuasion and negotiation.
