Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the ITOM framework, including monitoring, alerting, event correlation, and automation workflows.
  • Implement proactive operational practices to reduce downtime and enhance service performance.
  • Build a complete ITAM framework overseeing asset lifecycle stages procurement, onboarding, utilization, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Establish policies for asset compliance, governance, licensing, warranty tracking, and audit readiness.
  • Design and implement the IT Analytics Solution (ITAS) to provide unified dashboards and insights across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
  • Integrate monitoring tools, CMDB data, and asset repositories to support accurate operational visibility.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using operational and asset data, recommending preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with ITSM, NOC, SOC, and procurement teams to align processes and enhance cross-domain efficiencies.
  • Optimize asset utilization and cost control by analyzing consumption, contracts, and lifecycle patterns.
  • Develop SOPs, workflows, and governance models for ITOM, ITAM, and ITAS functions.
  • Support tool evaluation and implementation (e.g., ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM, BMC, SolarWinds, ManageEngine).
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer on monitoring practices, asset governance, and analytics capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Position Objectives:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive frameworks for IT Operations Management and IT Asset Management to enhance service reliability, operational efficiency, and asset control.
  • Ensures real-time monitoring, automated alerting, and proactive issue resolution aligned with industry best practices.
  • Oversees the full lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance, optimization of costs, and proper governance.
  • Design the IT Analytics Solution (ITAS) to enable data-driven decision-making across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM domains.
  • Ensures seamless integration of operations, asset insights, and analytics for improved service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in IT Operations, Asset Management, or infrastructure governance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of ITOM and ITAM concepts, frameworks, and automation practices.
  • Experience with monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Zabbix, Nagios) and asset management tools.
  • Hands-on experience designing workflows and lifecycle processes for IT assets.
  • Knowledge of CMDB structures, discovery tools, and integration methods.
  • Experience building analytics dashboards using BI or IT analytics platforms.
  • Strong skills in documentation, governance, and process standardization.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow ITAM/ITOM, or related credentials are preferred.
  • Excellent command of English, with Arabic proficiency considered an added advantage.
