Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Systems Engineering & Operational Platforms

  • Design, implement, administer, and optimize enterprise systems that support IT operations and end-user services.

  • Maintain stable, secure, and scalable configurations for workplace technology platforms.

  • Support the technical architecture of endpoint management, operating system deployment, device standards, and support tooling.

  • Lead or contribute to technical improvements that enhance service delivery, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Endpoint Engineering

  • Engineer and maintain enterprise endpoint management solutions for desktops, laptops, and related user devices.

  • Develop and improve endpoint policies, software deployment methods, patching strategies, and compliance controls.

  • Standardize device configurations, automation processes, and lifecycle management practices.

  • Ensure endpoint environments align with security, operational, and user experience requirements.

Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Device Build Engineering

  • Engineer and maintain MDM solutions for device enrollment, configuration, compliance, and policy enforcement.

  • Design and maintain standardized system images, device build processes, and deployment workflows.

  • Optimize provisioning and deployment methods to improve speed, consistency, and security.

  • Support testing, rollout, and continuous enhancement of endpoint and mobility management solutions.

Infrastructure & Service Reliability Support

  • Work with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure reliable integration of operational systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve higher-level technical issues affecting managed systems and user services.

  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.

  • Contribute to operational continuity and service resilience through proactive monitoring and system improvements.

AV & Collaboration Technology Engineering

  • Support the design, maintenance, and optimization of meeting room AV and collaboration technology environments.

  • Assist in implementing standards and technical improvements for conference room reliability and user experience.

  • Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve systemic AV platform issues and support upgrades where needed.

Service Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure engineered solutions support SLA achievement, operational efficiency, and supportability.

  • Analyze incident trends and recurring support issues to identify opportunities for automation or system enhancement.

  • Improve support processes through standardization, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.

  • Contribute to change planning, technical testing, and controlled deployment of system enhancements.

Documentation & Technical Standards

  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for system configurations, architectures, procedures, and support models.

  • Develop standards for endpoint builds, administration processes, and operational support handover.

  • Ensure knowledge is transferred effectively to service desk and operations teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand technical requirements and operational pain points.

  • Partner with IT support teams to ensure solutions are practical, supportable, and aligned to business needs.

  • Coordinate with project teams and technology stakeholders during rollout of new systems or improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems administration, endpoint engineering, or IT operations.

  • Proven experience with endpoint management platforms, MDM technologies, and device deployment solutions.

  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise device management and workplace technology environments.

  • Strong understanding of systems integration, operational supportability, and service-oriented IT delivery.

  • Experience supporting collaboration technologies and AV environments is preferred.

  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
