Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Governance & Delivery

  • Provide governance, reporting, and analytical support to project managers.
  • Ensure consistent application of project management standards, tools, and processes.
  • Measure and track project performance against defined KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate adoption of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) across teams.

PMO Standards & Processes

  • Support the definition and continuous improvement of PMO standards, templates, and tools.
  • Assist in onboarding new projects into the PMO framework.
  • Maintain and update PMO policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide documentation and compliance support for audits and reviews.

Reporting & Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on project status, risks, and KPIs.
  • Track and escalate project issues, risks, and incidents according to defined protocols.
  • Support post-incident reviews and capture lessons learned.

Resource & Financial Management

  • Support capacity planning, resource allocation tracking, and PMO workshops/training sessions.
  • Assist in tracking project budgets, forecasts, and actual expenditures.
  • Support financial reporting and variance analysis in collaboration with finance teams.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of project financial data.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in PMO, project coordination, or project management within an IT environment.
  • Proven ability to support multiple concurrent projects across business units/functions.
  • Strong experience with structured project management environments (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Prior experience working for a top tier banking, investment organization is a must.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving requirements.

Technical:

  • Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
