IT Project Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership & Delivery:
• Lead IT projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and handover.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with agreed scope.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams.
• Prepare and deliver clear project status reports, dashboards, and presentations to management and steering committees.
• Communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans proactively.
• Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Applications, ERP, Security, Vendors).
• Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure accountability.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committees.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
• Develop and track mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage change requests and assess their impact on scope, timeline, and cost.
• Ensure all changes are properly documented and approved.
• Risk, Issue & Change Management:
• Quality & Governance:
• Ensure adherence to IT standards, policies, and best practices.
• Support testing, UAT, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and smooth handover to operations.
• Vendor & Budget Management:
• Manage and coordinate external vendors and service providers.
• Monitor project costs and ensure budget control.
• Review vendor deliverables and ensure compliance with contracts and SLAs.
