To ensure that the day to day IT operations at the site is being manage effectively to the satisfaction of the users and ensure that all corporate IT initiatives are rolled out on time.

• Asset and Network Management

• Compliance sustainability and integrity

• Oversees the administration and maintenance of the tracking software.

• Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.

• Oversees all help desk activities at the regional level.

• Responds to escalated help desk issues.

• Provide first line technical support via phone, email or fax

• In line with Service Management Principles, provide a high level of customer service for all support queries To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.

• Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve and hardware or software problems.

• Respond efficiently to enquiries and effectively resolve any hardware or software problems

• Allocate complex calls to appropriate IT Support member

• Organize external technical support for any problems which cannot be resolved in house Support computer users by providing necessary training and guidance

• Company assets are maintained responsibly.

• Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.

• Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.

• Keeps account of all IT assets and ensure procurement and disposal as per company IT policy

• Oversees the administration of the company’s WAN.

• Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting plant infrastructure.

• Implements network security at the regional level as established by corporate Security Director.

Safety, Health & Environment Responsibilities:

• Formulate safety policies and procedures

• Conduct risk timely assessments.

• Train all employees in your health and safety procedures.

• Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks.

• Understand & educate the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
