Roles & Responsibilities

The IT Security Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures within the organization.

This role involves analyzing security requirements and creating architectures that minimize vulnerabilities while protecting sensitive information.

The IT Security Architect will work closely with other IT professionals and business stakeholders to ensure that security integrates seamlessly into all aspects of technology infrastructure and operations.

This position demands a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on security architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with various security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption methods).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are preferred.
  • Experience with cloud security solutions and DevSecOps practices is an advantage.
