Roles & Responsibilities
The purpose of these roles is to manage and maintain various security technologies and solutions to protect an organization from cybersecurity threats.
The responsibilities of a Security engineer may include administering and maintaining security tools, monitoring, and analysing security threats, developing and implementing security policies and procedures, managing access to critical systems and applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions, and conducting security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
By fulfilling these responsibilities, Security engineers help to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of an organization s data and systems.
