IT Specialist – Cybersecurity, Software, Hardware & System Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile IT Specialist to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in cybersecurity, software development, hardware maintenance, and systems engineering. You will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing our technology infrastructure to ensure business continuity, data protection, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity:

• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect systems, networks, and data.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat analysis.
• Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents in real-time.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).

Software Engineering:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and tools.
• Maintain and update existing codebases; debug and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define system/software requirements.
• Utilize version control systems and follow agile development practices.

Hardware and Infrastructure:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, servers, network devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Manage inventory of IT equipment and perform regular maintenance checks.
• Ensure optimal performance of LAN/WAN networks and connectivity solutions.

System Engineering:

• Design and implement scalable and reliable IT systems and architectures.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Administer cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Create and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in IT roles with demonstrated expertise in multiple domains.
• Industry certifications preferred: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, MCSA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.
