IT Specialist KOOHEJI CONTRACTORS W.L.L

• Will be responsible for providing technical support to employees and managing system infrastructure.

• Will be responsible for supporting Group IT Manager and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems and operations.

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

o Working with Remote desktop to different Locations & troubleshoot the IT problems.

o Troubleshoot network, systems, and application to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.

o Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for employees.

o Handling the daily technical issues from the users and giving proper solutions.

o Replacing parts of computer hardware components as required or recommended.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices.

o Antivirus installation and configuration.

o Prevent users from uninstalling antivirus with security key and unauthorized activities.

o Installation & configuration of the MS Office, Auto Cad, VPN client & OA software

o Installation of Operating Systems, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 etc.

o Installation of various software, device drivers, Disks & hardware components.

o Configuration of Printers and Scanners.

o ERP Installation and Configuration.

o Installation and configuration of recommended operating system, security software, and user requested software for specific function and other hardware content of pc and other IT Equipment such as printer/scanner.

o Make sure that a relevant IT person installs and configure other software’s like AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, IDS, Biometric Machine, Ant-Virus Protection in a reliable way.

o Configuration and Implementation of Hardware devices such as router, Wi-Fi AP, Switches.

o Setting up accounts for new users.

• Manage, monitor, and ensure the integrity and security of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.

o Make sure to implement security measures and ensure no one hacks any E-mails of the staff.

o Make sure all local offices internet communication is secure and reliable.

o Monitor the network status and connectivity to the Internet.

o Monitor, configure, troubleshoot network connection, network security and networking equipment such as routers, hubs, and Wi-Fi repeaters.

o Make sure there is manual backup for each department on a weekly basis.

o Maintain and secure all software and operating systems license keys.

• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and data.

o Ensure backup of all data stored in outlook.

• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and optimize system performance.

• Participate in the implementation of IT projects, such as system upgrades, new software rollouts, or infrastructure enhancements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of IT projects within designated timelines and budgets.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance for the adoption and integration of new technologies.

• Evaluate and test new technologies or systems, assessing their viability and providing recommendations for adoption based on thorough analysis.

• Support the integration of new technologies and systems, facilitating training and change management for employees.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-implementation evaluations for continuous improvement.

• Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation encompassing IT systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

o Ensure easy accessibility and reference for technical and non-technical staff.

• Implement training programs to educate staff on technical aspects in a professional and approachable manner.

o Foster a learning environment that promotes skill development and confidence in using IT resources effectively.

• Create and regularly update technical documentation and manuals detailing IT processes, systems, and protocols, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance to the company's operational needs.
