Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Repairs, replaces and re-images laptops and desktop computers.

  • Installs new hardware and software as needed.
  • Completes backup of user's existing data. Moves restored data to a different drive.
  • Evaluates new Hardware and Software. Researches the request and makes an informed recommendation.
  • Assists users over the phone, in the office or by going onsite to fix more difficult or non-remote accessible problems.
  • Installs and tests computers and software, customizes installed software to the specific requirements of the users.

Solid knowledge in Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, Firewalls, VPN, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.

depth understanding of computer software, hardware, and networks.

Ability to handle any issues related to Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks, Network segments.

Ability to maintain operating systems, business applications, security tools, webservers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs.

Good Knowledge in cloud, MS office 365 and other MS products.

Good Knowledge in CCTV, IP Cameras and VOIP.

Must be able to solve problems, maintain and ensures the proper function of standalone printers, scanners, or Network Printers.

  • ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Very Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Desired Candidate Profile

High school diploma.

Degree in computer science, communication engineering or related field.

3-5 Years experience in IT field.

MCSA. certified is preferred.

CCNA. certified is preferred.
