Roles & Responsibilities

Microwize is looking for an IT Specialist to support our global clients, primarily in the US. Where the job holder is the go-to person for technical support and infrastructure maintenance. This role offers hands-on exposure to advanced systems like firewalls, virtualization platforms, RMM/EDR tools, and healthcare-specific applications perfect for those looking to accelerate their IT career.

Desired Candidate Profile

Provide Tier 1 & 2 technical support to internal staff and external clients (e.g., workstations, remote access, healthcare software)

Email, ticketing system, and over-the-phone support.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network equipment.

Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and perform audits (hardware/software/licensing).

Monitor device health, performance, patch status, and service availability via RMM dashboards

Respond to alerts for hardware failures, service outages, or abnormal behaviors

Investigate EDR detections (malware, exploits, suspicious behavior), escalate when needed, and apply remediation actions when within scope.

Verify that backup jobs are complete successfully and report or resolve failures proactively.

Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and reduce manual effort .

Coordinate with vendors for procurement, technical support, and project implementation.

Support and maintain remote access technologies.

Perform firewall changes and tasks within a specific access scope.

Monitor infrastructure and connectivity and respond to issues proactively.

Contribute to onboarding documentation, internal knowledge base, and team training sessions.
