Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical support and resolve end-user issues efficiently.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement and enforce IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, data protection protocols).
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and business continuity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Track and manage IT assets, including hardware inventory, software licenses, and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for procurement and technical support.
  • Oversee and coordinate repair workflows, ensuring proper validation and documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Verify system performance and stability after maintenance and upgrades.
  • Provide user training and guidance on IT systems and security best practices.
  • Perform hardware maintenance and upgrades (RAM, storage, batteries, and internal components).
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
    • Hands-on experience with networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
    • Experience with security solutions (pfSense, MikroTik, FortiGate, antivirus software, data encryption).
    • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks.
    • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
    • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related field.

Proficiency in operating systems: Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
