Job Scope:

• As a Hotel IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining the technology infrastructure within the hotel. Your role involves ensuring that all IT systems are operational, secure, and optimized to meet the needs of guests and staff.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

• Provide timely technical assistance and support for hotel guests and staff members experiencing IT-related issues or challenges.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems and resolve them efficiently.

System Maintenance:

• Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to ensure the reliable operation of IT systems.

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance.

User Training:

• Conduct training sessions for hotel staff on IT systems, software applications, and best practices.

• Create user guides and documentation to assist staff in utilizing IT tools effectively.

Hardware and Software Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware devices, including computers, printers, servers, and peripherals.

• Manage software installations, licenses, updates, and troubleshooting tasks.

Security Measures:

• Implement security protocols and measures to protect data, networks, and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

IT Inventory Management:

• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, including tracking assets, managing warranties, and coordinating replacements or upgrades as needed.

• Assist in procurement processes for new IT equipment and software.

• Other projects or tasks as maybe assigned by IT Manager, Hotel GM or Adeera VP of IT
