Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • SAP Business One Support

    • Provide first-level functional support for SAP Business One users across all departments.

    • Assist users with daily operations such as:

      • Sales orders, deliveries, invoices

      • Purchase orders and goods receipt

      • Inventory and item management

      • Basic reports and queries

    • Troubleshoot SAP errors and user issues.

    • Coordinate with SAP partners or consultants for advanced issues.

    • Support user training and basic system documentation.

    IT Helpdesk & User Support

    • Act as the primary IT support contact for all employees.

    • Handle IT support tickets and service requests.

    • Provide onsite and remote support for:

      • Desktops and laptops

      • Printers, scanners, barcode devices

      • Mobile phones and tablets

    • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.

    • Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance.

    Infrastructure & Systems Support

    • Provide basic support for:

      • Local network (LAN & Wi-Fi)

      • Internet connectivity and VPN

      • Email systems (Office 365 / Outlook)

    • Assist in managing user accounts and access rights.

    • Support Active Directory (basic level).

    • Monitor system performance and report issues.

    Asset & Security Management

    • Maintain IT asset inventory (devices, licenses, accessories).

    • Ensure antivirus and security policies are applied.

    • Perform regular data backup checks.

    • Support IT security best practices.

    Vendor & Documentation

    • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.

    • Escalate unresolved issues when required.

    • Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and user guides.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this role is a hands-on IT Support professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment and enjoys solving real operational problems.

The candidate should have a strong interest in ERP systems (especially SAP Business One) and be able to communicate effectively with non-technical users.

The candidate should be:

  • Practically oriented, not just theoretical.

  • Comfortable working directly with end users from different departments.

  • Able to translate business problems into technical solutions.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

  • Patient and calm under pressure.

  • Organized and able to manage multiple support requests.

Technical Profile:

  • Has real experience supporting SAP Business One users.

  • Understands basic business processes:

    • Sales & Distribution

    • Purchasing & Inventory

    • Basic Finance flow

  • Strong in Windows OS and Office tools.

  • Can troubleshoot network and hardware issues.

  • Familiar with remote support tools.

Personality & Work Style:

  • Service-oriented mindset (not ego-driven).

  • Good listener and clear communicator.

  • Willing to document processes and create user guides.

  • Takes ownership of issues until resolution.

Red Flags (Not Suitable):

This role is NOT for someone who:

  • Only wants server or cloud roles.

  • Avoids user interaction.

  • Has no ERP exposure.

  • Needs heavy supervision.

  • Is not willing to handle operational IT work.
