Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Skills:
- Business Acumen - Level 1
- Data Collection & Analysis - Level 2
- IT & Computer Literacy - Level 4
- English Language Skills - Level 2
- Follows all relevant IT policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Responds promptly to calls from users on various non-routine queries related to the network or related to systems / hardware and diagnoses the problem to decide on the course of action.
- Resolves less complex problems independently and for complex issues, works in conjunction with senior colleagues or the vendors of the system or equipment.
- Carries out adjustments or customization to the network / related system, seeking advice from vendors in case of major or complex requirements.
- Develops simple programming solution, or complex code routine under supervision.
- Remains abreast of new developments in the field of networking and aims to enhance own knowledge and awareness.
- Provides status reports on supports issues to superior and contributes to the process of planning and decision-making in the area of work.
- Provides guidance, advice and technical back up to junior colleagues to assist in their development.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Diploma in Computer Science with relevant and recognized certification in a related subject
OR
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience:
- 2 -4 years of related experience for Diploma holders
OR
- 0 - 2 years of related experience for Bachelor degree holders
