Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and professionally.

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment in accordance with company standards.
  • Monitor and respond to IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, business applications, and connectivity.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and best practices to enhance the knowledge base and improve future response times.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Support the implementation of IT policies, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct routine system checks, backups, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on IT tools, security awareness, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in IT support or a similar technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and VPN technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective user support.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Willingness to work onsite and provide hands-on support as required.
