Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. This role includes troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, managing IT assets, and assisting with system administration tasks. The IT Support Specialist will also play a key role in maintaining cybersecurity protocols and ensuring adherence to IT best practices.

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, business applications, and IT peripherals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and security-related concerns.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Support IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and backup solutions.
  • Document technical procedures and provide training to employees on IT systems and best
  • practices.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and data protection regulations.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of all Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP).
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Technical Proficiency Strong understanding of IT systems and troubleshooting.
  • Problem-Solving Ability to analyze issues and provide quick and effective resolutions.
  • Customer Service Orientation A proactive and supportive approach to assisting employees.
  • Attention to Detail Ensuring accuracy in IT asset management and documentation.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration Ability to work effectively within the IT team and across departments.
