Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to manage and support IT operations across multiple company locations in the UAE. The role involves desktop support, basic network troubleshooting, backup management, and user administration. The candidate must be willing to travel between sites and provide occasional after-hours/on-call support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking issues.
  • Install and configure operating systems, security patches, antivirus, and company-approved applications.
  • Manage backup routines, including tape rotation and Exchange server mailbox archiving.
  • Create, manage, and disable user accounts as per HR guidelines.
  • Perform system maintenance, device configuration, and hardware upgrades.
  • Assist with IT-related projects and infrastructure improvements.
  • Ensure timely ticket resolution within defined SLAs.
  • Provide after-hours/on-call support when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid UAE Driving License.
  • Must own a personal car.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support / Technical Support / Desktop Engineering.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking.
  • Experience in backup & recovery processes, system maintenance, and user account management.
  • Ability to travel frequently between company locations.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience supporting MAC systems.
  • Knowledge of Cat6 cable creation, network patching, and IP phone setup.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, Zoho Desk, etc.)
  • Experience handling small to medium IT projects.
  • Prior experience working in the UAE IT support domain.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
