Duties and Responsibilities

• Carries out preventive and corrective maintenance on all personal computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, peripherals, uninterruptible power supplies, data network devices and modems throughout the university campus.
• Physical activity and onsite visits including carries out computer hardware installation in the various departments at DU. Includes preparing site to ensure adequate electrical and communication outlets, using appropriate test equipment, unpacking, checking against Purchase Order, installing and connecting and testing the units in compliance with the manufacturer s instructions.
• Install and configure computer operating systems and application software and checking requirements, installing, configuring and testing software according to manufacturers instructions.
• Documenting, signing and closing the appropriate work order forms. Advise senior IT support on any pending problem.
• Performs other functions as may be required by the Head of IT Support and/or the CNC Director.
