Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Administering IV therapy and monitoring patient responses.
- Working alongside established teams on a flexible schedule to deliver care.
- Evaluating patient s responses and outcomes to IV therapy and modifying care plans accordingly.
- Ensuring the safe handling and disposal of materials used in IV therapy.
- Collaborating with pharmacists to ensure the correct preparation of IV solutions.
- Teaching patients and caregivers about home IV care procedures.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of IV therapy policies and procedures.
- Participating in patient care conferences to discuss and plan for patient needs.
