Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations to verify the integrity of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, utilizing financial modeling techniques to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate a smooth review.
  • Support tax preparation and compliance, ensuring timely submission of returns and adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, proactively adapting practices to meet evolving requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience in financial software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks, showcasing technical proficiency.
  • Proven track record of preparing accurate financial statements and reports, highlighting attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and present findings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools, essential for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
