Description

• Restoring damaged or broken jewelry, selecting suitable gemstones, cleaning and polishing jewelry while maintaining fast turnaround times.

• Repair broken clasps, pins, rings and other jewelry by soldering or replacing broken parts.

• Reshape and redesign antique jewelry according to designs or instructions using hand tools and machines such as the jeweler's lathe and drill.

• Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Cutting and shaping precious metals into jewelry pieces using cutting and engraving tools.

• Changing the size of rings made of different metals.

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Adhere to all safety procedures to reduce the risk of accidents.

• Cleaning and examining jewelry.

• Evaluate jewelry to determine necessary repairs.

• Repair by welding and laser welding.

• Setting and tightening of diamonds and gemstones (claw, frame, channel, bead, etc.).

• Polishing precious metals.

• Electroplating.

• Engraving.

• Assist in cleaning the workplace and maintaining tools.

Skills and experience:

• At least 5 years experience as a jeweler.

• Advanced gem and diamond setting skills required.

• He must have in-depth knowledge of different types of gemstones and diamonds.

• Advanced knowledge of jeweler's tools, machinery and equipment, along with advanced knowledge of jewelry repair, is required.

• In-depth knowledge of various chemical solutions used in jewelry making/repair and must have experience working with them.

• Advanced experience in setting/replacing all types of gemstones and diamonds using different types of mountings.
