Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using advanced diagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, adhering to manufacturer specifications and service intervals.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles or equipment, identifying potential issues and providing detailed reports with recommendations for necessary repairs.
  • Execute complex repairs, such as engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and component rebuilds, demonstrating proficiency in specialized techniques.
  • Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and software to analyze vehicle performance data and identify faults with precision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a relevant vocational training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
  • ASE certifications (e.g., Engine Repair, Electrical/Electronic Systems) or equivalent industry-recognized certifications are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a technician, with proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in a specific industry niche, such as automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of issues.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, including scan tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes, to accurately identify and resolve problems.
