Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations in the joinery workshop, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production and assembly of joinery items.
  • Manage a team of skilled craftsmen, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to enhance productivity.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards and minimize defects.
  • Coordinate with project managers and designers to align production schedules with project timelines and requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in joinery or carpentry, with a proven track record of supervisory roles.
  • A diploma or degree in carpentry, joinery, or a related field is preferred, showcasing a solid educational foundation.
  • Certification in health and safety standards relevant to the woodworking industry, demonstrating commitment to workplace safety.
  • Strong technical skills in woodworking machinery and tools, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
