Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Journey Control Specialist to monitor and support our container transport fleet on the road. This role ensures every shipment is tracked in real-time, drivers are supported throughout their trips, and operational management receives accurate, timely status updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor truck movements using GPS and other systems.
  • Maintain constant communication with drivers to guide, assist, and resolve issues during trips.
  • Track shipment milestones and update statuses in the system and through regular reporting.
  • Report delays, incidents, and critical updates promptly to Fleet Operations Management.
  • Prepare and share daily and weekly reports on shipment performance and trip progress.
  • Support proactive problem-solving to minimize disruptions and keep schedules on track.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • 1 3 years of experience in transport operations, fleet monitoring, or logistics control rooms.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage real-time issues with drivers.
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking platforms and transport management systems.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
  • Team player with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
