Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must have experience in Steel Plants / Iron / Foundry / Manufacturing.

� Profiles without relevant industry experience will not be considered.


For Jr. Accountant & Sr. Accountant (Depending on Experience Level):

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable – ensuring accurate vendor payments and timely collections.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, journal entries, and financial statements preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier payments in coordination with the Stores & Purchase team.
  • Support in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities for the Greenfield Project.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in filing VAT returns.
  • Work closely with auditors, banks, and management for reviews, reports, and financial approvals.
  • Monitor project expenses, asset capitalization, and maintain accounting documentation as per company standards.
  • Participate in setting up and improving ERP / accounting systems for the new plant operations.
  • Provide management with timely MIS reports, cash flow updates, and analytical insights.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience in accounting roles within a manufacturing / steel / industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP systems / Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic setup.
  • Excellent understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and documentation practices.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Jr. Accountant: Requires 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance; Sr. Accountant: Requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a project-based environment.
  • Jr. Accountant: Working towards or holding a CPA or similar certification is a plus; Sr. Accountant: CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exhibits excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Displays strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
