Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through lead generation, client communication, and collaboration with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in IT sales, preferably within Email Solutions, Messaging Solutions, Data Centres, or Hosting Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to offer suitable solutions.
- Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales reps for further development and closure.
- Generate qualified leads and achieve monthly lead generation quotas.
- Conduct research on accounts, identify key contacts, and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory.
- Perform database profiling and validation.
- Conduct meetings with customers (virtual or in-person, as required).
- Collaborate with the presales team through joint calls.
- Update and maintain CRM data accurately and consistently.
Background & Experience:
- Experience in IT Sales, preferably in Email Solutions, Messaging Solutions, Data Centre, or Hosting Solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Currently engaged in lead generation and client calls.
- Comfortable working with targets and a fixed + variable salary structure.
- Experience in managing data within CRM systems.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role/domain.
Target Responsibilities:
- Responsible for fixing qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Weekly meeting targets will be assigned and monitored.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Professional presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in sales representative or lead generation roles.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
